The Seagate FireCuda 2.5″ 2TB SSHD is great for space constrained setups. SSD-level boot times and a large capacity for little money also allows easy builds on a budget.
-Replacing ps4 drive took all of 10min (re-downloading games due to internet speed another story - Destiny 2 took about 2hours on an average 60mb/s connection)
-
+
-Direct replacement for factory PS4 hard drive.
-
-
-Non so far
Get it when it is on sale, if you can afford to, and do not need much space, I would say you should go with a solid state drive over a hybrid drive
-
+
A great improvement over my old hard drive in my laptop but still being able to hold more things that I need
-
-
None so far
-Do not buy them expecting them to be SSDs they're SSHDs.
-
+
I purchased two of these and both function perfectly for games storage.
-
-
-None at the moment.
This is my second SSDH and I will use it as my main drive in my laptop. Wanted more space and the Firecuda 2TB just happened to be on sale.
-
+
Fast and 2TB
-
-
None as of yet
I have bought 4 or 5 of these now, and I keep coming back to it because of its price. It offers faster performance than a standard HDD (about 2x as fast in my experience), and still has quite a bit of storage space.
-
+
- Performs about 2x as fast as a regular HDD, in my experience
-
-
- A 1TB HDD can be bought for the same price
Good price with great preference , but it when it is on sale. I will buy it for my cousin as well
