SanDisk's Ultra II 480GB SSD provides high flash capacity at a low price point. The user experience is a bit better on this drive when compared to other low-cost models. The software package puts this one over the top, and hence makes it a top pick in this price range.
Samsung set the bar for TLC SSDs extremely high with the SSD 840 and further raised it with the SSD 840 EVO. Samsung now has some competition in the TLC SSD market and things are not going to slow down. Next year there will be a flood of newer TLC drives being released into the marketplace.

Better options out there for heavy workloads
Here we have our first product from SanDisk at pcGameware and it puts up a sterling performance all areas. The Ultra II offers a nice and simple design that is predominantly black with a rather dominant red SanDisk logo.
With the lowest pricing on the market, the SanDisk Ultra II is an excellent upgrade for your aging computer.

The drive's 120GB version is comparatively expensive. The three-year warranty is not as long as might be expected.
The SanDisk Ultra II 240GB's low cost, Dashboard software, and quality make it an excellent choice for surfing the web, casual gaming and general computing activities. At this point, the HDD is dead for consumer boot drives, this is your reliable entry level flash option.
I use this drive in a Dual boot Windows-10 / Linux machine using 3-5 VM/VBox Vitual Machines. I am changing and rebuilding the partitions + VM's on a regular basis. Its been through Several major OS changes and upgrades, with no problems to report.

Easy to install it works perfectly with all older devices and new. I have been using it for weeks and there are no issues. Huge performance improvement this is a must-have upgrade if you have new or older equipment excellent product.
This is my first SSD after my 500GB WD Green drive died. I wasn't expecting much to be fair, especially when it arrived. To be fair I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it's just a small very lightweight plastic box. Hard to believe what it can do!!!
