First, we noticed both models have typical performances of value SSDs, with a high sequential read data rate, but with lower rates in write operations and on random accesses. We also noticed the maximum sequential rate of the SanDisk SSD PLUS 120 GiB is higher than the Kingston V300’s.
When analyzing the results of our benchmarks, it is important to keep in mind that the SanDisk SSD PLUS is a value product and does not compete directly with the Corsair Neutron XT, which is a performance SSD.
Steer clear of these SSDs; they offer nothing but disappointment.
I wanted something other than a hard disk drive for my Alienware M15x, but I also wanted a strong name brand. The M15x is a 2010 model and has a SATA 2 interface so I cannot use the full speed of this drive. Even so, the responsiveness of this SDD cannot be beat by any spinner.

Fast enough. Not expensive.

The SanDisk SSDs are great and they breath new life into a laptop or Desktop PC. These do not perform as well as Samsung SSDs, but they cost quite a bit less too. They are great for the general office user to increase the speed of the PC dramatically.
Got this in early January 2016 for a 2008 Macbook. Cloned my internal drive to it then swapped it in. First boot up was slow but been nice and quick since - making the machine feel snappier.
I researched SSDs for a few hours and this was one of the highest-rated drives in its price class. Installation was simple but I had to use an external SATA-to-USB adapter to clone my existing Windows 7 installation directly.
This little 240Gb solid state drive delivers the same read/write stats as more expensive drives, and at a lower price. Installation and setup were super easy, and I'm very happy with the performance.
