Samyang 8mm f/2.8 Fish-eye Lens for Samsung NX Mount (Black)

This lens is sharp and fits my Fuji X-E1 perfectly, set at f/5.6 and focus set to 1 to 1 1/2 meter the camera becomes a point and shoot. I like to shoot up close so the fisheye is wonderful, it's not for all shots but shooting up close and personal it is perfect.

The fisheye is a special purpose lens that most of us do not use regularly. I have very much enjoyed this relatively inexpensive fisheye with my X-mount cameras.

I've contemplating buying one for some time and I finally took the plunge and it's an amazing lens. I bought it to fit a Sony A6000 as I needed to capture to some interesting sights around London for a project I'm working on.

FoV is amazing! Unbelievable sharp when correctly focused. However the focus marking are in-accurate. I recommend the first thing you do is take test photos at known distances and remark the points on the focus ring.

This is a top lens for the price - no magenta vignetting or anything for the NX500. Build quality is great pictures are crisp. The fish-eye effect is not as pronounced as seen on some ultrawide lenses and can easily be corrected using postprocessing software without too much loss, producing...

Not a bad lens. I have been using this for star filed and milky way photos. The focus ring on mine is very stiff. This is lucky in a way, as the focus point on mine is way off.
