Highly detailed UHD image. Fast pixel response. Good gray-scale performance.

Middling viewing-angle performance. Slightly skewed greens. Limited features.
The Samsung U28D590D revealed a unique combination of a luxury product and cost effective implementation. With ‘luxury’ I talk to at first about the overall appearance of the screen: The foot looks sexy, the bezels are neat and the silver edges make things pleasing to the eye.
It has been just over a year ago when we first got our hands on a 4K display. At the time, we were using a 50-in Seiki 3840x2160 HDTV that ran at a 30 Hz refresh rate and was disappointing in terms of its gaming experience, but impressive in image quality and price ($1500 at the time).
Do not buy unless you have a lot of cash to replace every 2 yrs. Would be 0 egg if option never had a monitor die this early. Really sad of a well know Co. to not support there high end products better.

In summary if you want a very good 4k monitor this is the one monitor that will give you very good visual at a very good price, a steal at this price.
