This Samsung delivers a great picture and a sleek design, but it's a little too pricey

The UE49MU7000T is a truly superior mid-range TV, thanks mostly to its brightness. While it’s no match in light output terms for Samsung’s much more expensive QLED models or Sony’s XE9305 range, it’s comfortably brighter than the vast majority of sub-£1500 TVs.

There are TVs that deliver better contrast and handle blacks better, giving more even illumination, but in sheer terms of bang for your buck, the Samsung MU7000 delivers by the bucketload.

I bought this a week and a half ago to replace a curved screen HD Samsung tv. It was quick simple to set up the new one and it only took a few minutes to adjust the picture and sound settings to my liking.

Got this tv with the intention to watch it down stairs but it was a fraction too big. Looks great in the bedroom. Lovely picture and great sound.Value for money.

Good value UHD tv to replace my 6 year old 40" samsung set. Is capable of stunning display with the right input and picture settings. Easy to use and set up. Only downside is no connection for my wii. Suppose I'll have to upgrade the Nintendo too!

I looked on the web site for a 49 inch tv. I had pretty much decided on a particular model but after taking in the knowledge of a member of your staff I felt happy to change my decision and I’m very happy with the tv I ended up with.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and although I haven't used all the features yet I am extremely pleased with the picture quality, even with an SD source! The sound seems ok for a basic TV, but I use a home theatre 5.1 surround sound system with it.
