The Samsung MU8500 is essentially the MU8000’s twin in terms of all performance specs and features. Its major distinguishing aspect is the curved display of the TV. Thus If you like the way curved screens look, go for the MU8500 and if you prefer a flat display, then the MU8000 is just as good.

I recently purchased this tv and it is phenomenal. The picture quality is amazing and the tv interface is very smooth. I would give it 5 stars but I have been having an issue with the wireless connection.
