Samsung HW-R550 320W 2.1-Channel Soundbar System

Decent for mixed usage. This 2.1 soundbar sounds decent with stereo content like music and dialog-oriented content like podcasts and audiobooks. However, it won’t be the best option for movies as it doesn’t provide an immersive experience due to the lack of height channels and Atmos support.

This is my first soundbar I've purchased and I have enjoyed it for the most part. Sound is great with music, based on some content on TV I've noticed the sound a little low, and that's based on some not all.

  Inexpensive

Sound quality is great and easy to setup. My only complaint lies with the mounting of the soundbar. The only way to attach the mounting bracket is on the underside if the soundbar (see picture). This method would be great if mounting to a wall but makes it more difficult to mount to a mounted tv.

I bought this sound bar 2 weeks ago and the product is very good at this price range. Sound quality is very good and the bass is good for a mid size room.

What can I say for the price the thing really puts out a decent amount of power the sound comes over pretty intense and the sub definitely does his job I am completely happy with this purchase I just purchased the wireless rear speakers to go along with asset to give it a more surround sound feel...

Bought this after using just my TV speakers on my Samsung TV for a year. Thought it would be perfect for my little condo. Setup is easier than any other appliance, 2 power cords and optical audio and BAM my TV instantly switched sound outputs and the TV remote was immediately controlling the sound...

I've had this for two months and I don't reccomend it. The sound bar is a couple mm too tall to fit under my 55" Samsung TV, so it has to sit in front on my TV stand. I saw some of the negative reviews and was a bit skeptical to purchase. This is not my first soundbar but my first with a subwoofer. I have to say that the setup was seamless. I had an optical cable already set up for my other soundbar so it just use that and plugged it in and it worked right away.

I bought few weeks ago and easy setup. great sound and bass. i will add rear speaker soon.

This was replacing an older Samsung sound bar that we purchased about 9 or 10 years ago. That bar was great until it suddenly stopped working recently. On first impressions, the new bar is sleek, easy to set up and has all the hook ups one would need for any type of listening one would like to do.
