Samsung HW-Q60R 360W Virtual 5.1-Channel Soundbar System

The Samsung HW-Q60R delivers a strong sonic performance with TV, movies and gaming, but the lack of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and even Wi-Fi significantly reduces the features it has on offer. It’s a solid entry from Samsung, but there are better options further up the company’s range.

Bought this today to replace a Samsung 2.0 sound bar and sub. For the price this is incredible. Great sound! I immediately went to youtube and played some songs. turned it up all the way. no distortion at all. The bass is awesome. The highs are crisp.

Decent sound bar ,looks good ,stylish. This bar is made for better performance using qled tv. It will perform good or best, depending on the audio of what you are watching , if its a 5.1 sound move ,you will love this. Under 5.1 moves , sound good, not as much bass ,as in 5.1.

  1.it has a bug on the on bar ,between the tv and bar. Seems to be a firmware problem. Many bands are looking into this.Samsung is not the only on .Arc will turn off the bar always.2.I used some larges screws to take the bar a bit far from under the tv, sound comes upward. Sound better.

For the price, this is a pretty good soundbar. Don't expect to have precise surround sound with it. But it is clear and has booming bass that rattles my room when fully turned up. Im not that impressed with the vocal and bass balance sometimes.

Pro: 1. great sound for money. better than the more expensive HW-MS750Con: 1. incompatible with smart thigs android app (you can use the "audio remote" app but its kludgy)2. the display is minimalist is an understatement. other than telling you the input, its unusable.3.

Recently I bought a Samsung Q60R 55" QLED TV and I read reviews that said that the speakers on the TV were not loud enough. So, when I received it I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, the reviews were not accurate.

Great sound, love full rich sound of the speakers, the adaptive sound brings the voices up above the back ground sounds when needed, Bery rich deep bass and I love the bluetooth feature which virtually removes any wires needed. This allows for the placement of the bass speaker any any place.

This was bought to pair with my Samsung Qled 65" 4k UHD w/ HDR It paired seamlesly with the tv. Extremely simple set up looks great, sound is tremendous, totally blows away tv resident sound. Bluetooth sub allows for easy placement and RUMBLES. Sound far exceeds my expectations.
