It has been quite a while since Samsung has upgraded its premium tablet. We were therefore eager to see how the new device, which is equipped with a lot of features and even the S Pen, performs. The tablet can convince in our review, but Samsung cannot keep its premium promise in all areas.

+
high-quality and slim case, expandable storage, USB 3.1, long runtimes, powerful SoC, fast Wi-Fi, great display with HDR, S Pen included, decent speakers, call functionality
-
-
only LTE Cat. 6, slow storage, weak cameras, no NFC, no high-end feeling
The Galaxy Tab S3 is an excellent Android tablet that offers solid performance, good audio capabilities, Android 7.0 Nougat, and good battery life, all with an excellent display to boot.

+
Fantastic 9.7-inch screen, Good battery life, S Pen features are useful, Solid performance, UI doesn’t feel cluttered
-
-
Boring design, odd button placement, Poor palm rejection capability, Fingerprint sensor often doesn’t work
If you’re looking for a tablet with a crisp, vibrant display and the added productivity of a stylus and optional keyboard, Samsung ’s Galaxy Tab S3 should be on your short list of considerations .
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is the Galaxy Note Tablet that never was. In the best way possible, Samsung has created an Android answer for the iPad Pro. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has some of the qualities of the Samsung Galaxy Note series – save a couple of the most important features.

Feels like a high-end device with glass front and back, MicroSD card slot allows storage expansion, Display is top-notch, Sound is great through headphones, good through speakers, S Pen makes this a true iPad Pro competitor
-
-
Speakers should face forward, not to the sides, S Pen should fit inside tablet while not in use, Keyboard cover should make tablet feel more premium, not less
The point is, productivity-and-media-focused consumers can find a whole lot of good computing options for them in this price range. We're happy to count the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 as one of them, but at its current price, it will appeal to people who specifically want an Android-based iPad Pro...

Excellent battery life, Very snappy performance, Top-notch screen, Redesigned S Pen feels great, is included
-
-
Ho-hum speakers, Glass back (and tablet as a whole) is slippery to grip, Keyboard case pushes price to $729
The Galaxy Tab S3 has proven itself to be a powerful tablet for work and play. If you like watching videos on-the-go or at the comforts of your home, this device won’t disappoint.

* Great display, * Slim build, * Good performance, * Long battery life, * Comes with S Pen

* Quite Expensive, * Storage starts at 32GB only
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a lot of stand-out features, including its superb AMOLED screen with support for HDR content, precise handwriting and drawing capabilities via the included S Pen, and gorgeous glass-and-metal design.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 should not be viewed as a permanent replacement for your laptop or PC, but it has all the makings of a great working tool. When I write at the AndroidPIT Offices, I use a desktop running Windows 10 Pro; at home, I use a MacBook Pro, but I've never thought about replacing...

Android apps ecosystem for tablets, No waterproofing, Battery is only satisfactory
The Galaxy Tab S3 marks a crossroad for Samsung, since the tablet landscape has shifted significantly over the last few years. When you also look at what it has to compete against nowadays, it can potentially be overlooked – due to the kind of value it brings to the table with its cost.

Beautiful, premium design S Pen is included with purchase Beautiful HDR-enabled Super AMOLED display Battery recharges very quickly Great for gaming Quad speakers deliver true stereo audio

Few tablet-optimized apps Average battery life No placeholder or clip for the S Pen Camera is just so-so
The Tab S3 is a direct shot from Samsung at Apple’s latest iPad Pro . On description alone, the two match up beat for beat: they have 9.7-inch, high-resolution displays (both 2048 x 1536), nearly top-of-the-line processors, 32GB of internal storage, fingerprint sensors, four speakers, measure 0.24...

Keyboard is cramped, Multitasking is still limited, Photos look like 2000s webcam images
I purchased the Tab S3 to replace my aging Tab S 10.5The speed, screen, audio of this device is a huge improvement of the previous model. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a non apple high end tablet.
I am not very tech savvy but I have figured out lots to do with this tablet. The screen is so vivid, the colors pop. Pen feature works great on what I've tried so far. Looking forward to learning more about other features.
I had (and LOVED!) the old old Google Nexus 7. Did a ton of research and decided on this tablet as a replacement. It has been brilliant! Light, easy to use (once you get good enough with Android), and I'm really glad I got it. I mostly read books on it; I use my phone to check the weather and so on.
Takes nice photos that look like postcards but haven't figured a way to post them due to screen size parameters not matching those of Facebook. The battery life is a big concern. The battery runs out in a day while not in use.
I was a bit hesitant about the price but decided to go for it and I'm not disappointed. The tablet is beautiful in design and works wonders for day to day usage. I primary use this app for watching media and creating art.
So glad I got this. I normally am an Apple girl but recently changed my phone and thought why not change to a Samsung tablet to. I was not disappointed, speakers in all 4 corners, pictured quality dining and easy to sync all data's from phone. What a great tablet
