The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is a simple tablet worth picking up for its low price, and its valuable extras sweeten the deal even more.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is affordably priced and offers many premium app perks for free. Its microSD slot accommodates cards up to 128GB.

The plastic construction feels cheap, and the single speaker provides weak audio. The text often appears pixelated.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 LTE is a very functional tablet that is both good for work and play. It’s good for watching movies, reading e-books, sketching, quick MS Office work, and light gaming.

* Slim and light, * Decent performance, * Good battery life, * Inclusion of S Pen, * S Pen, * Vibrant display with good viewing angles, * Call and text functionality

-
* Pricey given the specs, * Low resolution display, * Not so loud speakers
Considering the price of Galaxy Tab A 8.0, the tablet is a nice offering from Samsung. Though it lacks a fancy Full HD screen and a hefty processor, daily tasks are easy to perform due to its light weight, old but useful design and a newly prepared smooth, Android Lollipop based TouchWiz interface.

Only 16GB storage option , HD Screen
Every now and then Samsung will make a lower end tablet with a nicely inexpensive price to stay in competition with other companies out there, and the Galaxy Tab A is definitely inexpensive.

Poor camera quality.
I received this as a Christmas gift from my family.I couldn't afford to have bought this myself. It is so much faster and the quilty surpasses the one I have been using. Definitely worth the money.
Get it if you want to give tablets a shot for the first time or you do multitasking OFTEN. It's not too heavy and portable. Battery life is okay, so you don't have to worry about it. If you have the more than your budget, get it. Otherwise, look for something else.

The starter tablet if you want to give tablets a shot. Good battery life, not-too-bad performance, some neat features., Supports USB OTG.

Don't use this thing to take a pic., Plastic-y to the touch., Screen res is pretty bad.
I was a little anxious about purchasing outside the Apple product family. But with their need take all the ports off of their computers and phones, along with their prices being so much more, made me want to try something different again. I use this tablet with my Phantom 4 pro drone.
Purchased for my husband for the extra "memory" on the device. Not for shaky or "fat" fingers. Think he was touching one spot and several other windows would pop up. Very upsetting. Returned it.
We introduced my mother in law in using electronic and the new tablet was perfect for her. It's easy to use and understand. My kids helped her set it up.

Its great for a new user. It's easy to use
Great cheap tablet for anyone that wants one to do things around the house with.

Love it! Surprisingly not that much bloat ware. Runs very quick and does movies and books with no problem.

Price is too high! I should have researched more but my GF found this exact tablet for only 100$.
Low cost, multi-purpose, go-anywhere tablet. Large eight inch screen is easy to read. Supports most Windows and Android apps. Camera produces nice photos
Used my Samsung Galaxy Tab to take photos during recent vacation...very pleased! I recommended to a co-worker and she recently purchased her Tablet for upcoming vacation to Ireland.
Replaced an older ipad with the tablet, and have no regrets for the price. Powerful enough to play games on, fits well in the hand. I've had other android tablets with software buttons, the physical buttons make all the difference. Samsung is a hard brand to beat.
