The Samsung Notebook 9 is an alright laptop. It’s powerful enough to keep up with intense multi-tasking, and light enough that carrying it around is an absolute joy — once you get past the initial shock of how light it is.
-
+
Incredibly light, Good port selection, Solid display quality
-
-
Generic design, Look cheap, yet expensive to buy, Very short battery life, Slow hard drive
The new Notebook 9 carries an impressively bright display that is equally as fragile. The flexible chassis brings down an otherwise very portable and reliable machine.
-
+
easy serviceability; upgradeable M.2 SSD, impressively crisp and colorful display, very bright backlight; Outdoor Mode, near complete sRGB coverage, very lightweight and portable, Full Thunderbolt 3 support, comfortable keyboard, quiet fans; no pulsing, long battery life, metal chassis
-
-
no touchscreen, matte, or higher resolution options, very fragile lid; lack of edge-to-edge glass, GeForce 940MX with slower DDR3 RAM, maximum volume could be louder, non-upgradeable RAM, no full-size SD reader, no WWAN options, pricey
A 15-inch laptop with many of the benefits of an ultraportable, the Samsung Notebook 9 is a chameleonic computer capable of being almost anything you need.
-
+
Outstanding battery life. Solid overall performance. Good port selection.
-
-
No touch screen. Limited local storage. Some less-expensive laptops deliver better value.
Despite not decisively beating the competition in any one area, the Samsung Notebook 9 comes close across the board, making it a safe, if not exactly exciting choice for a slim 15-inch laptop.
-
+
The Samsung Notebook 9 packs a big 15-inch screen into a slim, light body, plus a Core i7 CPU, all at a very attractive price.
-
-
The design is bland, the keyboard is on the shallow side, and the base model has only a lower-res, non-touch display.
If performance and portability are your priorities, the Notebook 9 delivers. This laptop's Core i7 processor and Nvidia GTX 940 can handle a full workload and even some light gaming, while its 9.5-hour battery makes it easy to get things done on the go.
The Samsung Notebook 9 NP900X5N-X01US should be at the top of your short list if you all you want is a premium ultrabook, with all-day battery life, but don’t really need a higher-than-HD display.
-
+
Premium materials. Seventh-generation Intel Core i7 processor and 256GB solid-state drive keep things speedy. Long battery life. Dual-band Wi-Fi.
-
-
Full HD rather than Quad HD+ display on previous model. Dongles required for VGA and Ethernet.
I sat down on the train, two laptops, a tablet, and an e-reader crammed in my purse. There was a moment of relief — I'd managed to snag a seat on a rush hour train — and then, I felt a moment of sheer terror. My purse felt unusually light despite being full of gadgets.
The Samsung NP900X5L-K02US Notebook 9 is a premium desktop-replacement ultraportable with a sturdy build quality, a sharp display, good battery life, and fast hardware at a nice price. THE GOOD: Stellar all-round build-quality. Attractive metallic design. Fast hardware. Almost all-day battery life.
Good for people who goes to University but needs a laptop, but can't spend lots of money on a Apple Macbook. The Samsung Notebook 9 is a Macbook killer. It is not that expensive even though it is much more powerful with the cpu. I recommend this Notebook. P.S- Please share this [THANKS]

nothing
I've been using it for a month and this laptop is just amazing. Easy to lift and handle it, Really fast because of new intel i7 core. It doesn't have a touch screen but I'm ok with that because I don't want any fingerprints on my screen.
I looked for several months before finally ordering a new laptop. Consumer Reports rated ABT as the best source for electronics and consumer service so I ordered. The agent I spoke to with many questions was friendly, easy to understand and very helpful.

Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast, Powerful
-
+
-Computer is lightweight and fast - SSD helps tremendously with overall snappiness. -Very little problems with laptop overheating. -Battery life is good enough for what I need. ~6 hours of netflix streaming and general activity. -RAM and CPU are plenty for this class of laptop.
-
-
-Speakers a little on the weaker side. -I really wish there was a hotkey to disable the trackpad instead of having to do it through Windows. -Samsung installed bloatware is meh. I haven't uninstalled it yet, but I haven't also used it at all. It probably can go.
I absolutely love this laptop. It is so light, compact, and powerful. Pros: Internet1.My internet connect is in my living room and with some other computers I would have a hard time connecting to the internet when I would go into my bedroom which is on the other side of my house.
