The effect this lens produces will make this lens one that some people absolutely love, and others will find they just can't get along with. The haziness at maximum aperture generally looks quite pleasant, as does the vintage lens effect due to low contrast.

It helps to have a good monitor on your camera to get the focus right but once you get some practice with this lens you will never want to use another! For the price it is excellent and adds a wonderfully artistic mood to videos.

Ordered an e mount and received an x-mount whatever that is! I can't return it now because item was sent overseas but found out now it was the ring mount!! Really upset about this mix up and not happy at all.

Stunning quality lens

This is an absolutely superb lens - sharp, beautifully made, and coupled with my A7R gives great performance at really low light - I don't like flash, and this lens enables me to leave my flash at home. A very high quality product.
