SLR Magic 35mm f/1.7 Lens for Sony E-Mount

I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of this lens and the images it has helped me achieve. I am using it on my panasonic Gh5 and really liking the lightweight and manual controls over the aperture and focus ring. A great little lens for low light shooting and music videos.

Decent lens, nice image if tilted towards a blue cast. There are better 35mm lenses out there but for the price this works just fine.

You cannot expect results similar to Leica, Zeiss etc, but when I give it 5 stars I take price into consideration. I was surprised by sharpness and contrast in the sweet spot, and soon discovered that the main flaw of this lens; a strongly curved focus field, can be used for very practical purposes.

Beautiful image, and nice manual control. A bit too little maybe, but very good results for the price.

Its only sharp in the middle, and even that not so much.

This lens is very good quality. I was expecting a light weight plastic lens, and this one feels like it was built well. The extra lens cap and rear cap was another surprise. I wish i woud've known i was going to get the extra caps because i purchased some at the same time i purchased the lens.

I use it in cine mode. Yes, in cine mode. Love how it looks on the water...:)

Well built great soft focus and when it is sharp it is very sharp. Not very expensive and worth the price.

This is a poorly designed toy lens made with cheap glass. Only the very center of the images it produces is in focus, the small area of focus is not sharp and the focus ring is so sensitive and unstable that it's very frustrating to use. The focal distance marks are inaccurate.

I picked this up as a quick MFT lens for my BMPCC. I did not expect a ton out of the lens but wanted to have a lens I can always have out and about. Turns out the images are great with all things considered. Nice bokeh, etc.
