Keys don’t sense After-touch. Drawbar-organ mode could be more fully implemented. No sync to external MIDI clock.
I'm loving this RD2000. I play live, and record/produce for a living. This board is a dream come true after years of playing midi controllers via Mainstage live, and just using those boards for producing with virtual instruments.
Love this keyboard, piano sounds are great it's great for studio and live, worth the money tried several but always comes back to sound , this is it
Wow I am liking these keys....simple and upfront. Love the ease of editing the tones and making up your own sound. Simple and easy, straight forward. Most of all, am just loving how the keys feels on my hand. very impressed.
I went to a music store today and played on the Roland RD-2000 keyboard. It has 1113 intrumantal sounds just as much as the
Roland has done it with this keyboard. Piano sounds are based off of the V-Piano sounds. The rest of the sounds haven't gotten much of an upgrade though. The feel of the keys are some of the best I have felt since taking up keyboard playing. I normally play a Arturia Keylab88 controller.
Fantastic sounds---check! Easy upgradeability---check! OS can be upgraded easily EASY programming---check! EASY splits and layers---check! FANTASTIC pianos! FANTASTIC sounds! ---- check! Amongst the best I've ever heard---in fact, only the Kawai MP11 comes close. Nord??? Fogettuhboutit!
Ever since I first heard a Roland being used during a show, I have always wanted one. I was about to jump on the RD800, but then this one was announced. I am glad I waited. The craftsmanship on this keyboard is phenomenal. You get a metal body with wooden keys.
