Ricoh has achieved something remarkable with the Theta Z1. It uses much larger 1-inch sensors than regular 360 cameras to offer the potential for much better image quality, but it’s achieved this without making the camera significantly bigger.

More expensive than the Theta V
The protective cap is held in place with friction by a silicon type of inner lining that drags across the lenses. I could only imagine getting particles stuck inside and scratching the lenses. The TS-2 is a much safer bet. Otherwise its a nicely made cap.
Great build, soft inner lining (unlike the TL-2), but doesnt zip all all the way. Im assuming that was intending for charging, but you could have just chose not to fully zip it.
I have the Theta V and am a bit disappointed that this camera after all the hype is not a lot better!! Did a 3D tour of a home the other day for a real estate agent and there is purple artifacts at the windows and the HDR isnt any better than the V that I can tell.
