As soon as it arrived, I used it on my kit 12-32 lens that came with my Panasonic GX85. The clarity was astounding for a clip-on lens and better than I expected. The feel was reasonable quality and it didn't look cheap. Im happy with it and cannot think if a reason to drop it below 5stars.
Cheaper than a dedicated macro lens. Its small and light weight and thus doesn't hinder the AF of lenses. Came with a nice hard plastic outer box as well as front and back lens caps for the 'lens'.

more money spent, one more thing to possibly lose
I was excited when I first got this, and price is good. But a year after using it, I am just going to buy a macro lens. If you don't take that many macros and want to test the waters, its fun, but eventually you will move onto a lens or just put it aside.
I use this close-up lens with a Nikon P900 zoomed out to its maximum 357mm optical (2000mm equivalent), to do telemacro work. I own four Raynox macro lenses of different strengths and am happy with all, for both ease of use and quality of results.
This is one of the best of its kind. Contrary to most cheap diopter lenses, it is composed of multiple elements. That means that sharpness and CA are under control.

fixed focus point, only one thread size
This is a great lens for super-macro pics. It is compact (to carry) and and easy to use. I just set the camera in aperture mode, focus to infinity, then move the camera into the focus range, and shoot - tripod recommended.
So far I've only used the Raynox with an inexpensive 70-300mm zoom lens.Advantages: the optics of the Raynox is superb!! The zoom lens is certainly the bottle-neck of the image quality.
This is a great buy if you want an introduction to macro photography. It's also ideal if you already have a good dedicated macro lens but sometimes leave it home due to limited bag space

Focus at the edges falls of a bit
I wasn't sure how this would perform but so far I like it. It fits my 200mm Micro Nikkor lens and gives me a respectable boost in magnification with decent image quality. I'm not sure how the plastic construction and spring-tension mounting arrangement will hold up in the field.
I've had a Raynox DCR-250 for years. But, recently, wanted something with a bit more working distance for a new macro project. The Raynox DCR-150 fit the bill perfectly. In fact, I purchased another for my granddaughters to use with a Lumix DMC-FZ200.
