just what I was looking for , dont use a flash all the time but when I do its off camera. Needed a reliable receiver & this was it. Works all my Nikons DF, D500 & film fma3
This is well worth the money, I upgraded from another brand's system, and this has made my photography life happy. It's completely wireless, so hooking up my flash is so fast! Slide your flash on it's hotshoe, lock it, and you're ready to shoot.
After over a year of research I finally pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. Pocket Wizard III and even the new IV does not give you i-TTL. FlexTT5 trigger a remote camera and fire remote flashes like a dream.
I use the PW Flex units for wedding/general portrait work, and they are very reliable. Currently I am using 4 tt5s, 2 minis, and 2 zone controllers. I've had 0 problems with any pocket wizard products, and have been using them daily for 3 years. I couldn't ask for a better product.
Wireless Manual Power Control flash is the best way to shoot and with the TT5 and AC3 on camera, manual flash power can be adjusted at the camera. There's no need to stress when manual power needs changing. No need to hike around to all of the lights.
I cannot make the proper connection to fire the flash using the FlexTT5.However, using a Nikon SU-800 Commander I can fire my SB 700 Nikon flash and a Nikon DSLR camera, so I must be doing something right.I did go into the Flex software, maybe that's where I went astray.
This replaces an old one that failed due to old cruddy batteries.Combined with the sender unit, this system sets up easy and works from all angles.
Work perfect in the distance. Is my number 5 PocketWizard that said everything.-
very easy to use, but after 50 jobs 2 out of 3 broke,
Works just as I hoped it would
