Pentax HD DA Fisheye 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 ED Lens

v This strange lens offers the distorted view of a fisheye lens, with the convenience of a zoom lens. It offers a 180degree field of view, from corner to corner when set at 10mm and the equivalent of a 25.5mm lens on a 35mm camera, with lots of barrel distortion, at 17mm.

This is a really fun lens to use. I bought this to add to the wider angle spectrum of my lens collection. 10-17mm is a perfect focal length, as it creates a super wide-angle field of view, but does not completely distort your photo like a fisheye does.

Excellent lens, a lens that you should not miss in your photographic equipment, I have a pentax KP, and although I just received the lens the little I have photographed has a great quality and without chromatic aberration.

I love it! I'm still giving it 5 stars even though I have a few complaints. I use this for real estate photography. I had been reluctant to buy it because almost all reviews were about fisheye, fisheye, fisheye. However it is very workable for indoor use if given the chance.

I bought this lens specifically for a long trip to the canyons in Arizona and Utah. I used it more than I expected: This lens produces stunning images - in the fish-eye as well as in the wide-angle range.
