Panasonic Fisheye Conversion Lens for G Series Cameras

Great wide angle - doesn't bend as much as a traditional fisheye but I actually like that. Reduces sharpness a bit but could be fixed in post. Great addition for the price.

I bought this for the Panasonic GX7, it's not made for the kit lens. But it kind of fits, so I kept it. The fisheye look can only be used in the smallest mm at 14mm on the kit lens. All other mm's on the lens make it a wide lens.

This is exactly what we need to gear up our G1X for a wider angle view. It may not as perfect as you think but as a conversion lens, it plays its role.

This is a nice addition to the 14mm lens. Since I put it on, I have used the two as one, almost exclusively. It is, in fact, mostly a wide angle lens with some distortion at the edges, giving it a fisheye effect. But it is not a fisheye.

But I feel that the picture is too flat in the middle, it is almost like I am using a wide angle with a little corner distortion.

As I already had the Panasonic 14mm pancake lens and wanted a fisheye type lens to take on holiday a lot lighter than my Russian Peleng lens/cosh - and I had been favourably impressed by the straight wide angle converter for the 14mm - I decided to give this one a go.

I was a little nervous ordering this but for the price I was willing to try it. I almost never take my 20mm 1.7 off my G5, but there are times I'd like a wider shot. While it didn't specifically say it would work on the 20mm, it screwed on without a problem.

The product arrived in correct time and in perfect conditions and it was exactally what I need. It matches perfectaly.
