Was a bit concerned because of my planspotting hobby I need a good amount of zoom to get my shots. Haven't had any complains about this yet. Expect for when your are fully zoomed out you have to hold the lens to get a steady shot.
Great lens for a great camera. Had this lens for 10 years. Absolutely bulletproof. Love it. Time to upgrade to new camera. Lumix G1 and this lens have been a dream to work with.
This is the first lens I got after my camera came with the kit lens. I've taken some great photos with it, I use it more than the kit lens. I'm sure there are higher quality lenses out there but for the price, this is a nice lens. I use this on the Panasonic GX7, I love this camera, it is amazing.
If you are patient and not buying this lens at full MSRP it is a pretty decent value. Nice zoom range and image quality, though a little soft beyond 150 or 175mm. Well built, with image stabilization that works pretty well. No big complaints. You are getting what you pay for and then some.
Good sharpness throughout its zoom and aperature range. Excellent "bokeh". Excellent color rendition. Fast, quiet autofocus. Considering its long zoom range, it's very compact, lightweight, easy to carry, easy to handle. For the price, an outstanding lens and an excellent buy.
I bought this lens for my Blackmagic PCC4K. It’s a good lens for the price, go for it if you’re having an easy, less pretentious shooting.
Really like this lens zoom range is awesome says
UPDATE July 2018 I've since replaced this lens with the 14-140 f3.5 II mostly to avoid having to swap out the 45-150 for something wider. For those considering the move to the 14-140: - The 14 lens is noticeably larger than the 45 and while still comfortable on the GX85/GX9, it borders on being a...
Mine is still a keeper. Being out of production does not justify a price increase,
Very good lense for the price point. It's rare to have something 400mm (35mm equivalent) in my small camera bag. The zoom is great to have for any Micro 4/3 cameras owners out there. No tripod is necessary when shooting in bright day light with this lense.
