good enough!
I love these Presonus Eris 3.5 speakers! I also have a pair of good Focal monitors, and an Avantone Mixcube, but I was looking for something smaller to use regularly to test my mixes.
Great playback, at a bargain price!
I say basic set to mean, it's all you need to get started on a pair of studio monitors that doesn't cost an arm and leg. I've transitioned from using a TV sound bar that comes separate with a bass speaker to using this studio pair of speakers.
Great monitors. Thought they would be perfect for my small use/room situations, but pretty happy with the decent quality sound they deliver.
Glorified multimedia speakers with a surprising amount of bass. Really good for casual listening, great size and the Bluetooth connectivity works perfectly.

I bought the studio monitors for my son for Christmas and they are perfect. Definitely recommend getting the bluetooth option
