Next to the Vortex Stokes and the Steiner Sky Hawk this is one of the biggest disappointments in our test. A steep price and a small field of view suggested we might get an excellent product with a faultless, bright and sharp up to the edge field of view. Unfortunately it is not the case.

Very clear view with excellent magnification
I purchased this as a light weight travel scope. I find it easier for me to use a monocular rather than binoculars. The optics are crystal clear and the unit is fairly easy to adjust. It is much more compact than other monoculars I have with comparable magnification.

Excellent build quality, easy to focus, great magnification
I love this optic. It’s bright, focusing is fast and precise. Image clarity is razor sharp. Colors are true. Unit is small enough to bring along when you don’t want to lug heavier binoculars. Build is high quality and is made in Japan (which is a positive thing).

Excellent optics and very compact for a 10x42 monocular. Sharp, bright with nice, smooth focus ring. Field of view could be better. If buying again I would get the 8x model...
