recently installed this Onkyo, replacing a 4 year old Yamaha. very impressed with the build quality, and especially impressed with the ease of set-up. the auto sound calibration was spot on. love the zone 2 functionality.
This was a night and day upgrade from an older receiver that I bought and the thx certification makes it even better. The signal from my devices comes out crystal clear and helps me immerse myself in the movie or game I'm involved in.
The best reciever I've owned to date. It will pass through all forms of video signal...1080P, 4K, HDR10, Dolby Vision. Dolby Atmos is phenomenal and so is DTS X. I don't have a Dolby or DTS X 5.2.2 setup, but it will do Dolby Atmos or DTS X Nueral 7.1.
Upgraded from an older Onkyo sr608 unit whitch was 7.1 and hdmi also. This newer unit is flawless and much more up to date design. Plays 4k beautifully and added Atmos feature is neat. Best Onkyo a/v unit at this price. Don't hesitate if its what you want.
Quality sound reproduction. I was amazed as to the clarity difference in comparison to another unit. The Onkyo definitely wins the award for clear sound reproduction. Especially in the bass reproduction.
Incredible high quality sound. Very easy and user friendly setup. No glitches. Great Warranty. Highly recommend it.
Unlike my prior purchase of an Onkyo..which works perfectly except for the fact that id doesn't allow 4k passthru,,even though it was supposed to...This one...very easy setup...much easier than the older one...the TX-NR626 cost the same as this one...400 bucks...and the TX-RZ620 is so much better...
One of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I didn’t know what it was, what it does, what to hook it up to, or any of that, so I called up a store and the guy said “you know? I don’t know what they’re for either!”
Nice one....one should get a hand on this.....
I am extremely satisfied with this AVR. It has that wonderful Onkyo sound that I've really like (this is my 3rd Onkyo in 10 years). I only updated my AVR because I bought a new 4K TV (the 65" Sony 930e) and an XBOX ONE X.
