Bought this receiver to replace another Onkyo receiver ( still working great after 9 years ) to upgrade to the latest sound standards. VERY easy setup, super sound, Atmos works great ( somewhat limited choice in compatible titles but I guess the studio's will catch up !

Very nice item and easy set up thanks to the auto set-up feature and mic Only had it working for a few weeks but very happy with the sound and the units features. Wasn't aware that it only works with an active subwoofer, so had to purchase a new one separately.
Bought to replace an ageing 507 before it failed. Reasonable quality and a good choice. It's a shame it doesn't have an 'input state' display like the old one but you can press 'info' on the remote and see the same information on screen.
The sound is excellent in all formats,especially in Dolby atmos.this receiver also let's you upscale 4k beautifully. I am very pleased with this unit.
Great value for the price, has all the bells and whistles.
This was the worst purchase. Everything needs to be reprogrammed. We have had 3 different people try to program it and they have been unable to. Not currently working and wasted so much money in this product.
Works well. Was surprised to notice that ChromeCast is "coming" with a future firmware update.
Bought this unit to replace previous onkyo TX NR609, which failed prematurely after 3 years due to the frequent (Google it) hdmi card failure on these units. This unit is almost identical but much lighter? Is that good or bad.
