I've had this flash for several years along with a much larger Metz. I have a small bag that holds my em5ii and three lenses. This flash is small enough to stuff in a small outside pouch and you never know it's there.
I was surprised to find that the flash was capable of providing as much light as it did. Admittedly, I had to add anywhere from 0.8 to 1.2 exposure stops using Lightroom 5.2 to get the pictures to a better light level.
I use this flash on an OM-D E-M5. Short version: it's better than the tiny included unit, but not as useful as a full-on speedlight. Its main advantage is of course the ability to bounce-flash.
Nice small and light flash I use on my E-M1 II. Provides a surprising amount of light with really good reach. Takes little room in the bag, too.
Nice light weight, compact speed light to accompany my Olympus E-PL5. The fact that it has TTL remote is a bonus. The GN 20 is adequate for most of my needs (I usually shoot flash @ ISO 400-800).
This flash is great. It is small and compact on my OM-D. I wouldn't leave it on there all the time, but if you chose to do so, it wouldn't be that big of a headache. The recycle times seem to be good enough. It is not a professional flash however. The ability to off-camera flash is great.
I bought this flash unit for my Olympus E-PL5 camera for it is the perfect size for it. The fl-600R would have bin a little too big for the E-PL5 . If you need more power , then get the FL-600R. I'm not a big flash user but this little gem is also gret as a remote flash, which I use it a lot for.
It's a nice small flash that I use off-camera in RC mode with a clip-on flash on my Olympus Pen E-PL5. I originally bought it thinking it could be used on-camera as a master/commander in RC mode to trigger a FL-36R flash off-camera. It can't. It would have been perfect if it could.
The flash helps out a lot considering our ep1 doesnt have one. It pretty much works like a point and shoot flash. I can maybe reach a little further.
This is a small great compact flash. I'm able to carry in my pack while out hiking or in a pocket while walking around. I use it on my Oly OM-D-E5. Just a great little flash!!
