They don't wobble too much & I have enjoyed seeing so much further than my old 8x40's showed. Very good optics indeed to be fair. I wish they didn't fog up in the eye piece so fast, & for dolphin watching the 8x40's wider angle is far better as you never quite know where they will surface.
Good binoculars, great image for the price, well made, but a bit heavy and slippery to hold. Overall I found the Praktica Falcons a better buy, cheaper, slightly smaller and lighter, as well made and with better case and straps, image just as good to my eyes.
I got them at a "daily deal" price of £50 but they are worth more, sharp bright wide field of view and a nice grippy feel to them.. Plus they are Olympus, say no more.
I've had the binoculars out on 2 walks so far and its been great. Surprised by the distance I can see with it. Brilliant for looking at things in the range of half a kilometer to a kilometer away. It's comfortable to use and easy to turn the center focus wheel while looking through the lenses.
Light and easy to use, excellent view. I bought as present for my son and his children can use them too. Excellent view. Very clear. Good value for money. Early days but appear to be what we wanted. Agree with others that the strap is very fine . Comes in nice case with handle
You can spend a lot of money on binoculars and much like camera lenses, you do get what you pay for but there's a balance between acceptable quality and price. I think these are great value for money and offer more than adequate quality for the casual user.
The quality of these are outstanding. A little shaky when hand held and its a little bit of a shame that they cannot be attached to a tripod. Having said that for the money they are a nice enter level pair of binos. They feel and look cheap, the quality is anything but.
Have to say these are exceptional good binoculars, I've used a few in my time. These are ergonomically perfect for my large hands, eye cups are perfect for me. I wear glasses but can adjust the focus to use without glasses. Huge visual area when you get the lens lined up.
I have had 2 previous 10 x 50 bn's but these are the best. Obviously if one pays £150 then they will be even better but these are really good. Sharp vision and good light too. They are a little heavy but unavoidable if you want good magnification. I recommend them.
I spent ages researching which binoculars to buy after my OH asked for a pair for Christmas but didn't know which ones he wanted. I decided on these for my budget and my OH is delighted!
