Nikon ME-1 Stereo Microphone

Nikon Cameras work best with Nikon accessories, Lenses, batteries, TTL chords and Yes Microphones I have the Microphone and It works great with My Nikon DSLR.

Works great on my Canon EOS Rebel t3i and t5i cameras. The difference in recordings with and without it was night and day. Students used them to shoot propaganda commercials and the mics were truly necessary--just make sure the person recording isn't talking, too.

Before I purchased this product, I saw a pattern of two concerns in the product reviews: the mic was non-directional and there was noise generated by operating the camera. To address these, I purchased a 10' Rhodes extension cord and mounted the mic on a table tripod.

I am very pleased with both the quality and versatility of this microphone. It is the perfect compliment to our Nikon D5100 digital camera.

Mic works good but has a loud white noise in the background that no ones seems to mention on YouTube videos. But for the price its a pretty good mic and you cant hear it as much outdoors.

works great. excellent quality sound is recorded. Microphone is sensative to I use wind screen on it all the time.

The combination of this mic, a 25 foot cable extension to prevent camera noise being picked up, and my Nikon D800 worked very well to create a web page video. Great sound!

Nice little mic picks up sound good and low cut cuts out wind or low frequency hums.

I am not a high end audio file. I used this mic to make instructional videos. it worked well and i am satisfied with it. Typically, i buy the same maker parts when getting accessories. i figure that they will work well together because the maker would have tested it.

The microphone is set into one direction. There is no way to shivel it to a different direction. In order to locate the microphone to face outward, the plate can not be inserted to the camera shoe. I can not slide it to the shoe.
