As befits a camera aimed at professional and serious enthusiasts, the D500 has two card slots, one accepts SD type media while the other is for the faster XQD cards. Although they've been around for quite some time, XQD cards haven't become commonplace yet with most cameras accepting SD-type media.

It's about Bloody time! I am glad Nikon has awaken itself from whatever, and started getting back to the basics of keeping the top tier cameras alive. But I see there is nothing to worry about, keep it up Nikon, and you'll have me as a Fan of Nikon Cameras ALWAYS!
