The Nikon Coolpix S7000 is an extremely compact camera considering the 20x optical zoom lens available, with only the Sony Cyber-shot WX350 smaller, whilst offering such a long optical zoom lens. Other cameras offering a 20x optical zoom lens or more tend to be larger.

Painted effect / overly processed photos, Short battery life, Limited Wi-Fi app
The Nikon Coolpix S7000 is a simple camera but it offers quite a few useful features which make it appealing, and with a 20x optical zoom, perhaps particularly to those who want a camera to take with them on holiday.
A basic but well-specced camera that's worth considering if you're looking for a long zoom compact that will let you capture pleasing images on your next trip with the minimum of fuss.
I've been taking pictures with my iPhone 6 and getting excellent results, for the most part, but the lack of an optical zoom was becoming frustrating. I went to the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo, Wisconsin about a week ago.

No built in GPS
I bought this little camera for the ease of carrying and its ability to take long distance shots. I could tuck it into my pocket as I hiked, but could use it quickly as needed to photograph wildlife. The pictures were so good, I had a couple people ask to see my camera.
I have a Nikon DSLR which takes terrific photos, however I have found there are some places you just don't have the space or want to carry something this big around for general photography.

Small, light, battery can be charged from any USB port source. Nice zoom

Can be a challenge to hold still and get accurate focus when at full zoom.
Great zoom. Transfers pictures to my Ipad via wifi. I also. I like the fact that the settings are simple to learn. My last camera was overly complicated.
This is a good, easy to use camera. I bought it for the wide angle capacity which I'm pleased with. I've only had it for a few weeks but so far it is doing everything I need. One thing - I did think it would connect wifi to my pc. It doesn't. It will connect by wifi to your smart phone.
Product and company had very good reviews. That being the reason for the purchase.

Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, limited use so far. Seems like it will be good, Small / Compact
I like this camera. Because it has many new specifications. Pictures and videos are excellent. Very easy to use, high quality; also best price.
A good value. Easy to carry around while traveling. The zoom exceeds what an IPhone can do which is the reason we purchased this camera. We lost the one we had and re-bought the same.
