Netgear Nighthawk AX4 4-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router

I have to admit that when I purchased both the Asus RT-AX58U and the Netgear Nighthawk RAX40, I was very excited about this new technology, but after testing each of them, I’m not entirely sure they’re ready for prime time.

A new era of Wi-Fi connectivity is already underway. The software and hardware are already developed, while 5G and Wi-Fi 6 are being implemented across the globe. But while this is happening, many people are still using older generations of router equipment.

Works very well at great speed for a multitude of devices. Downside is its extra fragile and put together with a fairly flimsy frame. Kid bumped it one time and it fell about a foot and broke a few interior components off right away. Great unit if you dont have clumsy kids or pets around.

I needed to upgrade my previous router because I wasn’t getting the speeds I was paying for. This router covers that and the some. Compatible with Fios. It was quick and easy to set up.

No smart connect and signal strength range is limited compared with other similar priced Netgear and competitors products.

We purchased this item because of the growing need for technology in our home. Our other Netgear product was not capable of handling all of the gadgets that we have accumulated. We no longer have streaming interruptions or freezes. We are so happy that we got the Nighthawk. I recommend this product.

Purchased this router after making the switch from a cable internet provider. It is really simple to set up, provides reliable speeds, and the UPnP worked well with multiple consoles.

Just had gig fiber installed in our house and we had the option of renting a wireless router or purchasing our own. We chose to purchase the Nighthawk based on suggestions and quality. With the app it was an easy setup. The app features are awesome!

Great coverage, super fast and easy to set up. It took me a while to find a setting I needed but other than that it's great.
