Minox BV 8x25 BRW Binocular

My BV 8x25 BRW Binocular is clear and easy to focus..(as said from previous owners). Would have liked to try the 10x25.. (to see the deference in magnification).. Did used the 8x25 at an Alvin Ailey event an was very pleased with it. Compact, lightweight, well made.

The box these binoculars arrived in was not very large, but quite heavy. My fears were unfounded because these binoculars are remarkably light in the hand. The optics are very bright. Focusing is smooth. The pivot is firm to adjust the spacing between the eyes, but it holds very well.

I'm always looking for close focus binoculars, which function best for general nature study. The best, so far, are not waterproof. These fill that void, within about 18 inches of close visibility. Light gathering very good and due to their small size, work well with my camera-binocular combo.

I selected the Minox strictly for lightness and compactness to watch birds from inside our rural house. Was astonished to find that it fits the hand very nicely, and the optics really pop, comparing very favorably to several more expensive standard-sized binoculars even in deep woods in early...

This binocular was bought as a backup for times when my wife didn't want to carry along larger binocs. The only but is that the distance between pupils is not specified, and the smallest distance is just a bit large for my wife's use.

We carried out essential research to ascertain the best, based on our requirements, which included performance, weight, engineered specifications and price. We find that these are perfectly suited.

I did quite a bit of research, and these binoculars correspond perfectly to what I was hoping: lightweight, very luminous for the size and below $150. As described in the review, because they have a single hinge, they are more voluminous than models with two hinges.

Very well made and excellent optics - very sharp image and crisp focusing. The image brightness is also very good indeed for a 25mm objective.
