I ordered this tripod and returned it with the only testing being in my living room. I think Manfrotto dropped the ball on this one. I actually really like the tripod design and simplicity and I found the legs to be quite stable for their weight. However, the main issue is the ball head.
I use it on the road... It's great when you spot something and you need Quick Access for a steading your lens. You simply turn the included 1/4 20 TPS and your all set
The tripod is extremely light and the rubber feet which is left up to the buyer to install are really to small to fit the legs. I would be afraid to put a pro lens on the camera and use this tripod.
Reading the specs I bought is for my DSLR thinking I will take it when I want to travel light. Sorry to say, even without any thing mounted to it it is not stable, tried with and without the rubber add-ons but evey touch makes it move for a few seconds... had to remove it and get a more stable one.
Pretty flimsy tripod. The included rubber feet split when I tried to install them over the spiked feet.
I bought this tripod because it was on sale. I use a lot of tripods for light stands and wear them out frequently. If you're looking for a small, lightweight tripod I would recommend you take a look at it. But, remember it is very lightweight and will only support a strobe or lightweight camera.
The tripod is just fine and works great, but it is very time consuming to set up and get level
Is very well made in Italy and very nice looking. Also plus it is not bulky. But it is not light and not easy to use. The way legs open (twist-to-lock) is kinda original, but I imho not convenient at all especially for outdoors. Maybe need some more experience I do not know.
Con: Locking mechanism takes some getting used to, especially in uneven terrain. Pro: Lightweight, quick to use.
Not tall enough. Awkward leg adjustments. There are no stops. You actually have to watch the index marks to make sure you don't pull the sections completely off when adjusting. Spindly, light and unstable.Rough ball.
