Perfect, although I haven't yet found a nice, padded carrying case for it that is NOT overly long. I use this primarily with a Kessler Pocket Jib (in preference to Kessler's own HD tripod). The combination is absolutely perfect. Pete
I got this for my EXFX jib. With a fully rigged F3 on one end it needs over 125lbs to counterbalance. These sticks do the job without worry.
If you're looking for a really sturdy, well-built tripod to hold up a heavy camera load, this Manfrotto is a great choice. It's really strong and stable. It's also fairly heavy and bulky, so be ready for some heavy lifting, especially once you attach a large camera system.
The tripod came ready to go right out of the box! Easy to set up and very sturdy for our jib.
Used with a Manfrotto 5 series head, mostly for matte rig work and jib/crane work. Excellent quality, easy to set up and use.
Well made. Sturdy. Using it for the Cartoni Jib-o. Very happy so far.
We use this crane in a variety of situations, from studio work to field production. The build is solid and supports our C100 setup with various lenses and attachments quite well. You will need a heavy duty tripod system to support this crane, so be prepared to spend a lot more on that than for the...
I use this tripod in our Studio. Its heavy duty structure when used with the Manfrotto studio grade dolly guarantees a smooth and reliable motion.
I recently purchased an EZ FX jib and this product is heavy duty enough to handle the payload. I greatly appreciate the pins for leg adjustments with the wing nut locks for extra sturdiness. (Make certain the pins point inward).
We bought this tripod to support our Losmandy Porta-Jib Traveller. Fits easily in the TP-0939 Tuffpak Tripod Case. Very well constructed. Good piece of equipment!
