Lensbaby Spark lets your camera color outside the lines. It mounts directly on your Canon or Nikon and focuses manually when you squeeze it toward the rear while watching the sharp, sweet spot move around in the viewfinder.
As a photographer, I am constantly looking for fun new gadgets to spark more creativity in my photography. I’m sure I’m not the only one who sometimes falls into a comfortable pattern of shooting that—while effective—can get a bit monotonous.
Great fun creating selective focus macro close-ups. Exposure is guessed at, and set manually, as AV aperture priority on your camera body does not work with this lens. A fixed, round iris of f/5.6 gives pleasant bokeh. Setting shutter speed and/or changing ISO determines exposure.
Its so cheap, I just got it for fun. I have been free lensing and finally got the hang of that when I decided to try this. I have a very hard time nailing the focus in camera. But this could just be me. I really do like this lens and I have only used it a select number of times.
Blurry Focus, Poor in Low Light, Tough To Attach, Weak Casing
This thing is amazing! I don't have enough words for it right now. If you're considering it and/or looking for that "Instagram" select focus look, get it. Now. Stop thinking about it.
