The Lenovo smart Display 8″ is Lenovo’s smaller and less expensive offering in this category. We already reviewed the 10″ smart Display and came away very impressed with the first Google Assistant smart display to come to market.

I have been using OK Google for a few months, and it has become indispensable growing from a mini in the bedroom several speakers scattered throughout the house. Adding a display opens up a depth to voice commands that I didn’t know it needed – until I used it.

Overall, this is a fine product. The audio is impressive. The voice recognition hears me in some cases too well. The video worked during my Duo calls just fine. Also, the picture display is beautiful. A concern is that the display may not receive the latest updates.

This google assistant is awesome! The speaker is much louder than I had expected. The design is sleek so it looks good on my kitchen counter, where i can pull up step by step recipes and play music at the sane time, or on my bedside table. Ive set mine to do certain things at certain times.

This is a very good and very handy device that improves on my voice-only Alexa units with a screen. The picture and the speaker are decent, considering the small size of the device.

I am very happy with my purchase! So much cheaper than the Google alternative. We have placed the display in our kitchen, which makes it very convenient for cooking timers, music, recipes, and Duo video chats from one of the most lived in rooms of the house. Very pleased.

We've had Amazon echos and smart speakers and Kindles and ipads and tablets and blahblahblah, so I was expecting the adjustment period and minor disappointments that come with new devices. There's almost over feature that you want that they don't do. Not this one. Mostly, I really really love this.

Am really loving this device! I get so much done with this device everyday without even having to lift a finger from the moment I wake up - shoutout to routines for that! Great audio quality too so thats definitely a plus!

Love it! I purchased the 10inch model for my elderly parents. And gifted the 8 inch version for a sibling. And I'm keeping the smaller 7 inch version for myself. I prefer the smaller foot print.This device is mainly for video calling during quarantine.

One of my favorite purchases! All the information associated with Alexa BUT it has a screen to watch you tube videos, read recipes, my photos rotate on it, ask for dinner music,or any artists you can name,and I can control it's volume on my phone as well. It's just awesome.

This is a perfect mate to my Google speakers. I am using this in the kitchen to stream recipe videos.

It works really well, 2 main gripes are that it can't join audio groups with other Google home devices and it doesn't have full Chromecast capabilities. I can cast you tube videos to the screen but not Netflix which is a bit annoying.
