Pros: Wady: Leica binoculars are, by and large, in a class of their own. It would be foolish to expect a weak test result here. In the case of the Ultravid 10x42 model there were no serious slip-ups so a very high score, reaching over 143 points, is nothing strange.
Anyone who regularly peruses these pages will know that this review is way overdue as Leica Ultravid binoculars have been out for quite a while now. Just when we were about to review the original Ultravids, Leica announced that they were coming out with a new HD version that would be a big advance...
If you are looking for a top of the range binocular, perhaps the ultimate binocular that is ideal for wildlife, a great higher powered birding binocular and therefore makes a perfect binocular for taking on safari or other nature adventures, then these will not disappoint.
these are worth every penny i can now hunt early morning & late evening the glare that my nikons gave me was sad but now no glare just clear views i ranged 1086 yds once now these binos are the best my friends ziess are not better than these
get these bino,s you will love seeing things you never seen before they are the clearest i have looked through.
I purchased three sets if Geovids for a long term bird research project. Estimating distance is the foundation of most songbird monitoring projects as it allows biologists to calculate accurate density estimates for various bird species encountered on surveys.
Durability, looks and how it functions is awesome, no guessing when i bow hunt or rifle hunt on distances.if you know your arrow or bullet at any range what it does you will be a successful hunter.optics are crystal clear,as good as you will need in the field.
