I've been using this as a workload drive while my external HDs hold all my back ups and files. Love this how quick this thing again!

This works fantastically well. it reads and writes fast and had no problems with it. Since is light and smaller then the externally powered ones it is great for storing copies of important papers to take with you in case of disaster.

I purchased the 2TB drive for my wife's iMac-1TB HDD in March, 2014. Using it as a time machine backup. I wanted a USB powered backup drive with double the capacity of the internal HDD (as recommended). The matching aluminum case and compact size made this a good choice for the iMac.
