LG WM3470HWA

My Whirlpool Duet washing machine broke after 9+ years, and, after much research and price-checking, I decided to replace it with this LG model. I haven't regretted it! The LG is much quieter, and even the high spin cycle doesn't shake the house from its home on the second floor.

Good: Laundry comes out clean. Not so Good: I have had my laundry machine for over a year and the last 6 months I had soapy water leaks. like many I have looked all over to locate the leak point, an on my surprise... it is air vent.

It's everything I ever wanted,I would recommend this washer to everyone,it washes clean and I love the way it sense the weight of the load and gives you the right amount of time to wash

This is our first front load washer and we love it. Uses much less water and is much quieter than our old top load. It spins the clothes much dryer and takes less time to dry. It holds a ton of clothes at one time. We have been using it for about a month now and have no complaints.

DO NOT BUY!!! Broke after a short time. Foul odor after first use which continued as long as I had it. Called LG to get it repaired and they refused to send someone to repair even after I agreed to cover all costs out of pocket. I threw it away and purchased another brand.

I would give this machine a zero if I could. I hate when other people use that line in a review, but i hate this washer so much that this remark is justified. I have had this machine for just under 2 years.

Bought the LG front washer on 9/15/2014. Now it leaks. Not sure where the leak is coming, but after each wash there would be a pool of water under the machine.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I went out of my way to find this one and review it because, and let me clear my throat here, ahem THIS PRODUCT SUCKS SH&T. DO NOT BUY. It doesn't balance right (after spending hours balancing) spins too fast and tried to escape.

This machine is a dog. Everything from cutesy music it plays when the load is done, to the fact it just leaks. I always have water in the pan below it. And now it requires a plug and replug to operate. Seems like the main board has died. I would replace it, but it cost a bloody fortune.

This washer has given me lots of trouble, do not recommend it. The people from lg say it has to be given maintenance every year and they charge for it. Know I am being told the water pump does not work eventhough the washer is working and they want to replace it.
