Lg SM8100AUA 65" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart NanoCell IPS LED TV

For the price and year, this TV is pretty nice. My only complaint is that the local dimming happens in vertical stripes and can be distracting. Sound quality is decent, but still beat when supplemented by a sound system. Also disappointing that HBO is not a supported app on the LG ecosystem

Being hard of hearing I have a set of Sennheiser earphones which I now find I can't hook up to my new TV. It's only output is the optical output which is already in use for my soundbar. Just on the edge of sending the thing back even though it does have an excellent picture.

I’ve been waiting for this TV to go back on sale for almost a year. It finally did and I bought it. Picture quality is great! Like it is really great. Just a notch below OLED. Especially in hi brightness scenes. Wish the dark scenes were better. I have to admit it’s kind of driving me nuts.

Very disappointed. Picture quality is very inconsistent. Requires constant adjustment depending on what you're watching. Can't seem to get the picture right. Too dark, too light, skin tones, shadow/hilight detail inconsistent. Upgraded from Samsung 40" flat screen with much better picture.

We're far from being professional testers but, without running a bunch of tests, we hooked up this TV and thought the picture quality is excellent. We're running the audio through a Onkyo receiver with Bose speakers and that's also excellent. Haven't found anything to complain about.

This is a great TV. We replaced an older plasma and it is well worth it. The picture is great, the sound is better than most we have heard lately (although we are using surround sound speakers). The remote is interesting but once you get used to it, the ‘magic’ part works great.

So happy with my lg tv. It’s super easy to navigate. The remote control makes it. With a scroll button for changing channels quickly and a pointer for selecting apps ect. The graphics are great to watch movies also.

Disappointed to say the least. Cant even provide info on the “Picture quality”. Clearly it doesn’t even work. Phew.

I'm not one to need the absolutely best picture a TV can offer, so the picture on this is acceptable. I do, however, have two major issues. I've never had a TV that caused me to have to adjust the sound so often. It's annoying.

fantastic picture. has all the apps for tv programming. sling, Xfinity, Apple TV, Peacock, ect.
