The LG SN6Y is decent for mixed usage. This 3.1 setup has a bass-heavy sound profile out-of-the-box, but it struggles to reproduce the low thump and rumble in the low-bass. However, there are bass and treble adjustments to help you customize its sound.

Lacks low-bass., No Atmos support.
Sound bar sound very good and interacts with an LG TV very well, but after less than 1 year and 6 months the sub woofer stopped playing sound. After some troubleshooting the sub woofer finally reconnected to the sound bar, but still no sound out of the sub woofer.

Performance
I had to call LG to help them walk me through the tv set up, but once we got it all set up it has been fantastic. Just turn the tv on and it automatically turns on and works with my LG tv remote. Which is why I bought the LG soundbar to begin with.
This was all new tech for me. I watched several YouTubs and then read the directions. But I had no problem setting it up. I really like my sound. It has more depth and range. I would buy it again.
The sound bar itself sounds fantastic and have great sound out of that but unfortunately the subwoofer only worked for about an hour before it started cutting in and out every 10 seconds. I would lose all sound from the subwoofer and then it would come back and it would go away and then come back.
Owned this item for just about a year. The wireless subwoofer will no longer connect to the soundbar. I gave it 3 stars because when it did work, everything sounded great, it was extremely easy to setup with my LG tv and the soundbar still works and sounds great despite the subwoofer going bad.

ease of use, Performance
The sound quality is good and install was easy. Works well with my LG TV. Comparing to the Samsung 2.1 I had before, the Samsung had better audio modes, like game, music, cinema, and it was easier to adjust the bass on the remote.
I like that the sound bar has metal mesh instead of fabric covering speakers. Plenty of power for blue tooth music. Haven't hooked up to TV yet. Glad we purchased it.
Good sound although at max volume isn't really very loud. The sub paired up with the soundbar automatically. Unfortunately this system creates massive interference in the wifi 5g channels. Netflix and all other channels on my Roku occasionally buffering until I turn off the soundbar.
I have some hearing loss so I really need good sound from my tv. This is why I chose a high quality sound bar to go with my new LG tv. The sound bar sits in front of my tv and does NOT block the screen of the tv as I have read in some reviews.

Performance
Pairing with the LG OLED was easy, but apparently the opportunity to balance frequency output through the TV is not available. So, stuck with preset out put. And, although I'd rather have the balancing of frequency response more tailored to my room and hearing, after break in I found the sound to be...
