I’ve owned and loved a pair by LG before moving to an all electric condo 2 yrs ago. It was time to replace the old units that came with the condo and first choice was LG. The reviews confirmed it. I’m so happy with the familiar efficiency (low water, little detergent) and excellent wash.
So far, this set is "the bomb"! We bought it for our summer lake place which seems to have a revolving door with friends and family visiting. Lots of sheets, towels, plus our regular weekly laundry. The washer seems to really get the clothes cleaned and even disinfected.
We bought the washer and dryer with the pedestals, it puts the doors at a more comfortable height. We didn't get the pedestal washer, too concerned about leaks, we just got the pedestal drawers. Washer works very quickly on turbo wash and washed clothes well. Dryer gets clothes properly dried.
I have always used a top load washer & dryer, & when they finally went out onme. I decided to step up & pay the extra money for a front load system. What a difference! You don't use nearly the amount of detergent as before & the clothes get really clean, cleaner than ever!.
We had an LG set that was 8 years old and the washer started to sound like a plane taking off, so we had to replace it. We wanted a matched set and decided on this pair. At first we were concerned because the washer really rattled when spinning, but then we broke out the level and figured out the...
appliance is great, delivery and installation is terrible
Probably should have gotten stainless because the dark color shows all the dust, but otherwise very happy with new washer and dryer. I particularly like the allergiene steam setting which I use for sheets and blankets.
After much research, this combo had all the features I wanted— stainless and lights in both, large enough for our comforters and lots of options. I actually like doing the laundry now, taking them for a “spin”! (My husband is handy which was important for a cramped kitchen hook-up and level).
We got our washer dryer about a month ago. I like the washer but the dryer sensor doesn’t work. Almost every single time I have to start another cycle because the clothes are not dry.
Love the huge capacity washer and dryer. Fits so many clothes and towels!
