I needed a second monitor for my auxiliary computer. I purchased the LG 24MP59G-P because it had a display port connection, not found on most inexpensive computers. When I got it connected, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the picture.

These monitors come with HDMI, Display Port, and VGA. This is great because I used these as 2nd monitors at a small business. They have so many different IO options I dont have to worry about running to look for adapters etc. The picture is great. 24 is perfect for users that are older.
For starters, I don't believe in a review prior to a month. I could put in 5 stars and it goes out without fully tasting. But the quality of the image is nice. Disappointed that I need an extra item to mount it on a monitor mount, 5 dollar piece of plastic that should be apart of the item.
I bought it 3 weeks ago and it's a charm.I use it as a primary screen for my Laptop and for second screen for my pc. It's a great gaming monitor for people who want to play adventure/action game offline AND fps/shooter online.

After several days of research I really think this monitor serves its purpose and then some. The resolution is HD, and although 4K is becoming the standard the response time and no lag features defintely make up the difference- especially for gamers.
Great, inexpensive all around Monitor, gigantic size and really clear and great picture in all the games and other applications.Worth the money, would buy it again.
I was looking to get a new desktop PC for work and gaming along with a new monitor. After doing some research I came up on the LG 24MP59G-P. Considering the price and specs it’s probably one of the best montorors for the value.

ease of use, Performance, Quality
It's a good monitor. 75hz at 1080p, colors are nice. Only problem is the light bleed when there are dark scenes on screen. Other than that it can't be noticed
