Nice vivid colors. I do photo editing, and this is a great monitor for a decent price. The driver file, however, needs to be updated for the next release of Windows 10. Using the driver causes the monitor to darken.
The difference is night and day over my previous "big" monitor. I use a dual monitor setup, with a smaller 1080p monitor serving as my auxiliary screen, and games, videos, etc being displayed on a larger one to act as a TV/HTPC for my bedroom.
Despite the knock on the 6-bit, the monitor does really well putting to shame just about every other 6-bit LCD monitor I've used, and in fact even beats down on some 8-bit ones. Like other IPS monitors, there is some glow, but the back lighting is surprisingly even - I was expecting it to be much...
Image quality is very good, color reproduction is excellent, excellent contrast ratio, Freesync support.
6-bit's does mean some dithering occurs (not a photo/video editing monitor after all), black accuracy leaves much to be desired (lot's of detail loss)
So far I'm enjoying it and this monitor was a good deal for what I paid for it.
ease of use
Lacks in clarity and sharpness.
Such a beautiful looking monitor, love it. Colors are great too but I'm no expert. Works great for extended desktop for MBP.
No issues. No dead pixels. Went together very easily. Drivers installed without fuss. Great value for a 1080 1ms gaming monitor
Works good with no problems. Games look excellent on it.
Great monitor. Thin design. Very light. Access to ports on the back side are very easy. Straightforward setup right out of the box. Picture quality is amazing. It's my first freesync featured monitor along with a display port connection.
For what I paid, I'm quite happy with it.
