The LG 24M47VQ is the most affordable 24″ 1080p monitor. However, it uses a TN panel with narrow viewing angles and inferior image quality. It also has a rather bulky design, no FreeSync support, and it’s limited to 60Hz.

I had to buy two new monitors for my new desktop computer. I bought these as the price was right for me. My old monitors did not have a HDMI connection and I needed that for my new computer. They were easy to set up and use. My eyes are less tired after staring at them all day long.

I wait for awhile to review items, I've had this for 7 months without issue, colors are great, stand is solid. Would be nice if it had speakers but really a non issue if you use headphones or speakers.

I picked this monitor based on price and comparisons as a monitor for an old Mac mini. I am very happy with the quality and size. It would be nice to have other input options but overall it had everything I needed. It is so light I just sit it on the mac mini.
I bought this LG 1080p 24" Monitor to actually use it as a replacement for a LG 24" TV. I have a NVidia 1060 6gb card, and wasn't getting the full potential out of the LG TV, no surprise there. But the monitor definately brought out my card's full splendor, in my games and my TV Show's streams.

I would recommend this to others. It is a great value and an overall nice product. I've never had an LG whether it be a phone tv or monitor that didn't have an awesome picture.

The picture is amazing for a TN and images are sharp and crisp. The backlight is very bright but is very easy on the eyes. The price i paid for it was great (129.99)

It's so light-weight that it seems fragile which isn't a problem I just feel that I have to be extra careful when handling it or transporting it. Be careful not to jam connectors into the rear because that board on the inside seems flimsy as if its not bolted down securely.
These monitors look great, and work well. The functions are a plus too. the ONLY thing that is seriously wrong with these is that they are VERY flimsy! they just feel 'cheap' to the touch. You have to be careful when inserting your cable in the back. It feels like it could go right through!
For the money, this is a pretty good monitor. It replaced an older monitor with less resolution, but the display is not as good as my previous one. The words have a slight fringe on them. I use my computer a lot for photo editing. I would not recommend this monitor for that purpose.

ease of use
I have it hooked up to four machines through a KVM switch. Three of the machines are running Windows 10, and the fourth is running Lubuntu Linux. All work fine with it.

The picture is sharp, with beautiful colors. There's only one control button, which activates an on-screen display of the different control functions. You then use that single button to navigate the on-screen menus. It's nice, because you'll never have to fumble around for the proper button.
