Make sure you get the PREMIER series!! Big difference between it and the regular reference series. Costs more, but we’ll worth it if you go with klipsch. Great speaker for a small to lower end of medium room. If you have a large or even somewhat large room to cover, I’d go a size bigger.
With your center speaker being primarily used for voice tracks, you want something that can reproduce voices faithfully. This speaker does a decent job with 95% of voices, but (oddly) gives a 'boxy' sound to some male voices - like they're speaking through cupped hands.
For how small it is it really does pack a punch and bring the vocals to life in the Cinema experience. If you're looking for something that can put out deep vocals with a high sensitivity I would highly recommend.
Wonderful speaker. Clear life like sound for center channel. Power enough for a medium sized room. Highly efficient speaker. Looks and feels gorgeous too. These Klipsch reference premiere speakers are worth every penny. I am driving them with Denon AVR-3806.
Adding a center channel speaker is a great way to improve your home audio and this speaker has been fantastic. I have it matched with similar size left and right for my front speakers and it sounds great.
Always Klipsch quality and sound, tough to beat for the price!
To start off I replaced a klipsch R-25C , lots of power and solid. This new speaker is very bright and voices are less muddy. I tested with the denon 1600. For music I went with Pink Floyd’s albums of piper at the gates of dawn ,wish you were here and animals.
Nice sound! We used to watch TV without the sound system on. Not any more. I Paired this with Klipsch subwoofer and bookshelf speakers (and my original rear speakers) and it is a really nice sound.
I have RP-500M's for Front L/R, R-120SW sub, old Sony wall- mounts for rears...but a crappy single-speaker center that frankly sounded weak and muddy. Honestly I should have skipped the center and just run 4 1 and let the 500M's carry the load but I decided to spring for this RP-400C just because I...
Many, many reviews on bookshelf type speakers and this center channel - what a difference it makes. Keep your amp, try this center channel out with Klipschs RP600M and you have a very well rounded home theater system. Unbelievable quality.
