So-so comfort over long sessions
In conclusion, I think the Heritage HP-3 headphone is an incredible audiophile hit. From the solid construction and materials down to the Hi-Res sound quality, the HP-3 is an excellent headphone for high-end home listening. It’s strong yet light… and crazy comfortable.
Taking the Klipsch Heritage HP-3 headphones out of their elaborate old-style wooden case gets me worried.
I was sceptical about the HP-3 at first because all the other Klipsch headphones I've heard left a lot to be desired. I read and watched some reviews from trusted sources and decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did.
Superb build and quality with a natural sound that grows on you .. prstty much any genre works here .. as did my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 straight up or in tandem with Sony, Chord, Teac or iFi portable DAC amplifiers ..
With the headphone amplifier these sound like Klipschorns. One experiences a sound that one remembers as reference to any other by comparison. Without the amplifier they still sound good considering what they are plugged into.
Just fantastic. Clear, clean, great bass. They play effortless at any volume. I paired my with the Klipsch Headphone amp and I could not be happier.
If the system allowed for it I would actually award 4.5 stars. I use the HP-3 for both critical listening and simply relaxing listening. My HP-3 is driven from custom speaker tap cables with my NAD M3 integrated amplifier and I use the iFi iOne as a DAC.
I purchased these high end headphones after hearing then in the stotre. I also got the Klipsch amp that go with them.i could not be happier. The sound is the best I have ever heard. The package they come in is unbelievable. I listen to music hours every day.
A bit too much bass at 80 hz by only about 2db. Otherwise stellar soundstage, detailed highs, good sub bass extension. Worth the cash if you like V shaped headphones. Crazy beautiful and awesome packaging.
This is my first pair of headphones in this ultra high end category, being a big Klipsch fan I became excited when I heard of this from CES 2017. Nearly 11 months after that announcement had to hear what the best headphone audio Klipsch has to offer sounds like. Definitely not disappointed.
