Kenko Teleplus PRO 300 DGX 1.4x AF Teleconverter

Teleconverters are a convenient way to achieve a new focal length without the cost and physical burden of a new lens, but manufacturer's own models can be fairly pricey. Canon's current 1.4x Extender costs an eye-watering £450, while Nikon's equivalent is priced at around £300.

Quite pleased with this. Still have to learn how to use it better. I bought this to extend my nikon 18-300mm lens, especially to get a better shot of the recent bright moons. Pretty good.

Works well, cheaper alternative to name brand

It works and it's cheaper than other alternatives

I purchased this specifically for use with my Nikkor 18-140mm for travel. It is much easier to pack and carry than my long lens. It works as advertised. Auto focus a little slower, but acceptable.

This device appears to work perfectly as advertised. Build quality is high. I am completely satisfied and would purchase again.

The product appears to be quality built. Contrary to the Nikon Teleconverters, which only work for selected Nikon Lenses, the Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 1.4x teleconverter works with all my Nikon lenses as well as my Sigma 150-500.

Works well, great price

Perfect for that extra reach with the 7D MK II and the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM lens. I could not tell that there was any IQ loss using this teleconverter.

I am glad someone mentioned to me the value of this great 1.4 x extender. Works perfectly with my Canon 5d and adds value to my lens. I have not found any problem with the quality of outside photos provided it is reasonable to good light, even late afternoon was okay. Why pay more - good value.

I use this 1.4x on lenses that would not let me mount my Nikon converters on too.Works great.
