I have a Sony A57 and this product works extremely well with my Sony 75-300mm lens. Its easy to add and take off. Comes with a nice leather bag for storage. I did lose F stops up to 8 but I purchased it for distance options. Very clear images zoomed out. Its a real nice option for a nice price!
This works fine with a Sony A77ii and the SSM 70-300 G lens. Autofocusing works pretty well in good light, but hunts somewhat in dim light, i.e., twilight around sunset. Image quality seems good in good light, less so in dim conditions. All in all I am delighted with the performance for the money.
Works well with A57 and Sigma 70-300mm. Reports correct aperture, and AF works in most daytime lighting conditions. Image is sharp and clear. Great price and good quality.
I used it for the first time when I took pictures in a small quaint town and DC. It worked well with my regular lenses giving me clear pictures. I tried it on another 300 zoom and it did not work but for the price I did not expect it to. Great for the price.
Kenko DGX converter will report correct focal length and aperture of the lens plus converter. The newer Kenko DGX converter do not have Pro 300 series in Sony mount, and that's why I got this MC4 model.
Ive bought this twice (lost it once) on my 77Mii with Tamron lenses, including the 28-75, 70-300, and the 150-600 without any problems. This photo is on the 150-600, with the reach at 840mm. It looks sharp to me.
tried a variety of products and this works the best
I tested the teleconverter on a Sony G 70-300 SSM (original) andTamron 150-600 G2 with the Sony A99 body. The 70-300 works well. Autofocus is good. Image quality doesn't seem much worse in normal conditions, except there is rather more vignetting.
In my experience, teleconveters generally don't work. This one worked as as advertised and I got great shots of the eclipse. I may buy the 2x converter soon!
This Teleconverter worked really well for me. No noticeable image degradation and gave me the extra reach I was looking for. Build quality is really good. The attachment points are metal on both the front and the back, the lens release works easily, the lens is stable with no noticeable wobble, and...
