Holding the Jaybird Tarah Pro box in my hand, I’m struck by the image of a mountain runner moving fast and free as a bird over technical terrain. A lone human in a range of misty mountains – with no visible sign of dangling wires; simplicity at its best.

Long lasting battery life, Super fast charge time, Over and under the ear fit, Great sound output

No option for ambient noise passthrough
Jaybird has had a busy few months. Following September's release of both the flagship X4 and budget Tarah , the company released last month the Tarah Pro, a second high-end headset that evidently shares enough in common with Jaybird's entry-level offering to share its name.

Battery lifeDoesn't reach Jaybird's 14-hour claimed playback time, but it's still great., Sound qualityThe Tarah Pro sound less like the Tarah and more like the X4., New charger designIt's still proprietary, but it's the best version so far.

PriceThe Tarah Pro are $30 more than the X4, which are nearly as good., EargelsOne of my least favorite things about the Tarah and still one of my least favorite about the Pro., New charger designIt's still proprietary.
The Jaybird Tarah Pro Wireless Sport Headphones are now my favorite Bluetooth earbuds, supplanting my Jaybird X3s. This is mainly because they play for 14 hours and 45 minutes when set at a moderate volume level.

The headphones play for about 14 hours and 45 minutes., The MySound app helped me to create a customized sound preset with the “Personal EQ” dashboard tile., The app also allows me to create my own equalizer presets and save one to my headphones.
The Tarah Pro is one of the best Bluetooth fitness options you can get, and for the money, probably one of the better sets of Bluetooth headphones period. If your gym activity is light or non-existent, you may well prefer AirPods or over-the-ear headphones, but otherwise we would strongly recommend...
The Jaybird Tarah Pro headphones are a worthy successor to Jaybird’s previous sports headphones. So much so, that we think these are well and truly the best sports headphones you can buy. They’re well-designed, comfortable, boast an excellent battery life, and sound pretty good too.
Great sports headphones. The Tarah Pro are sports-oriented headphones with an IPX7 rating for sweat and water resistance. Their wireless design is very portable and breathable, which is great. You shouldn’t sweat more than usual while using them during your workouts.
Killer battery life, customizable sound and adjustable fit make these Bluetooth sport buds a must-buy.

No setting to allow more ambient noise
Jaybird's new Tarah Pro wireless running headphones aren't cheap, but they come with all the features runners need.
The Jaybird Tarah Pro is truly the excellent sports earphones in the market. It has a great design, it’s comfortable, and has a long-lasting battery life. Most importantly, its sound quality is perfect.
The Jaybird Tarah Pro headphones are first in the new ‘Pro’ series launched by Jaybird. Built with higher quality materials and offering better quality sound these are priced as premium in-ear headphones compared to the other Jaybirds. Are they worthy of the higher price tag? Let’s take a look.
Was nervous to purchase since I've had issues with previous Jaybird headphones. Decided to take a chance since now waterproof. Good sound, especially when adjusted to your hearing with Jaybird app. Charge lasts a long time. They stay put during runs and other activities.

14 hour charge. Sound. Good Bluetooth connection. Braided cord

Slight uncomfortable pressure when adjusted to keep ambient noise out. Walking/running noises transmit into ears because of tight fit of rubber/silicone ear inserts.
Great sound; comfortable fit and love that you can customize the EQ.
I rarely write online reviews, but I'm so impressed with this product, I had to write one. As a musician, music fan, and runner, I've owned a lot of headphones. I can honestly say these are among the best I've ever used!I used the BeatsX for years. Believe me when I say these are better.

Great sound quality, punchy bass, custom EQ with app, outstanding battery life

Shorter cord than other wireless earbuds
Would like a little more bass, otherwise quite good.
Pretty darn good sound with app equalizer. I wish it was 1-2 clicks louder for use in loud noise situations. I think it could sound even better if they designed it for use with foam tips.
